AXEL ARIGATO X CAT FOOTWEAR TO DROP THREE NEW CHUNKY EXCELSIOR SNEAKERS

From the success of its collaboration last year, Cat Footwear and Axel Arigato will be launching three new colorways of the coveted Excelsior silhouette for Fall/Winter 2019.
Combining the contrasting elements of the two shoe brands, the chunky sneaker arrives in an orange-themed color palette conceptualized by Creative Director and Co-founder Max Svardh.
According to Svardh, the distinctive orange tone is the key shade for the labels’ second collaboration.
Its striking hues are “commonly used in industrial contexts to make a statement,” said Svardh, “so we wanted to utilize it throughout the collection as it reminds people that they are wearing a powerful piece.”
The three-piece Axel Arigato x Cat Footwear collection launches at catfootwear.com, Axel Arigato stores and select stockists including Selfridges and Net-a-Porter on September 12.
